Saying things like, “I’ve tried everything” and “nothing works” is giving yourself permission to quit. The words: always, nothing, ever, never, and everything” are rarely true.

You haven’t tried everything or you’d have what you want.
It’s that simple.

It’s ok if you quit. It just means you don’t want whatever “it” is badly enough. Maybe it was something you thought you “should” do. Maybe you wanted it to meet someone’s expectations other than your own.

Changing your mind about what you want is a decision and is not the same thing as quitting.

If you know you want it, and success is eluding you, try something else.
