I used to assume everyone knew what needed to be done at home and at work, what would be helpful, what I like, and what would make me happy on a given Tuesday. I’m surrounded by intelligent people. I would wait for it…then do whatever needed to be done.
Lightbulb moment…bite the bullet, face the fear of rejection (they might not do it even if you ask), and ASK FOR WHAT YOU NEED AND WANT.
Do you get what you want every time you ask? No. It’s not rejection. Sometimes it just isn’t possible for some reason.
News flash…You’re a role mode!. Show positive, effective ways to get your needs met. They will follow your lead. Everyone communicates, you get help, and you are able to effectively do things for others as well. The vibe around you stays high and positive while your frustration and exhaustion takes a vacation.
Those who ask get what they want more often than those who wish, want and hope for it.
Hugs and happiness,
