Internal dialog can be an ongoing battle of ups and downs. Sometimes we are “up” and know for sure we’ve got this, we are powerful, and we can get what we want. Then there are the times we feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or in a place where we are not fully aware of our superpowers. Either way, thankfully, the brain willingly believes what it sees. There are research studies that document the powerful, positive effects of smiling at yourself in the mirror. Keeping positive messages in your environment nurtures a happy, upbeat internal dialog creating more positive thoughts, emotions and actions.
Here’s (picture) how I start my day. It gets me going more than the coffee that goes in the cup. Even if I don’t feel gorgeous, it still makes me smile and gets me headed in a positive energy direction.
